2026. 02. 10 · ORBRO

ORBRO Inc. announced that it obtained an Information and Communications Construction Business License on February 10, 2026. With the license, ORBRO has strengthened its framework for carrying out construction and maintenance related to information and communications infrastructure, and has further expanded its capability to execute field-centered projects.
Registration for the information and communications construction business is required in order to contract for and carry out information and communications works or to maintain information and communications facilities, and applicants must meet certain registration criteria under the relevant legislation. According to related administrative guidance and legislation, formal registration is treated as a basic requirement for performing such works reliably.
With the license in hand, ORBRO plans to further raise the deployment capability required when supplying location tracking systems and field-based operating solutions. In addition to its existing supply capability centered on products and software, the company has now secured a foundation for delivering on-site construction and maintenance through a more consistent framework.
At industrial sites in particular, location tracking systems, network equipment, edge computing devices, and control software are often operated as a single integrated system, which makes a continuous support framework from deployment through maintenance important. Building on the Information and Communications Construction Business License, ORBRO intends to improve the stability of project execution and the quality of customer support, and to keep strengthening its site-tailored deployment capabilities.
ORBRO plans to continue advancing both its technology development and its project execution framework, responding more actively to the demand for integrated deployment that arises across a range of industrial sites.
