Logistics Solution

Pallet Location Tracking

Location and movement history for loaded pallets is recorded automatically, so store logistics assets are managed to one standard. Records of pallet searches and misplacement checks become material for operational review.

Track pallet location by aisle and rack and retain movement history

An ORBRO Tag is attached to the front of each plastic pallet and TwinTracker UWB is installed on the rack columns. Received coordinates are processed on the on-site server and organized into current location and movement time for each pallet number. High ceilings and loads that block the signal are checked so receiver positions and calibration values can be adjusted.

TwinTracker UWB

A UWB receiver installed on the rack columns along both sides of an aisle to pick up tag signals. In warehouse-style stores where mounting equipment on a high ceiling is difficult, receiving points are set close to working height. Coverage is measured with pallets loaded as they actually are before the layout is fixed.

Instant Pallet Location Search

Search a pallet number to see its current aisle, rack zone and last-seen time. Matching the movement path against storage data narrows where to search and what to check for misplacement.

Pallet and Tag Registration

The pallet number and the ORBRO Tag number are linked as one asset. Location history for the same pallet continues even when the goods loaded or the storage zone change. Registration fields follow the reference data the customer already manages, such as product group and receiving number.

Current Location by Aisle and Rack

Search a pallet number and its current aisle, rack zone and last-seen time appear on the layout map. The on-site server computes the signals received by TwinTracker UWB, so pallets standing close together are still told apart by tag number. The unit of location display is set after the receiving environment is measured.

Pallet Movement Timeline

Records of a pallet moving between aisles and racks are arranged in time order. Staff see not only the last position but which zones it passed through over a chosen period. Receiving and replenishment times are matched against location history to trace why a move happened.

Zone Exit and Misplacement Detection

When a pallet leaves its assigned aisle or rack zone, it is flagged on the operations screen for checking. Staff compare the current position with the original storage record to find what has been put in the wrong place. Set zone criteria and alert targets according to product group and how the area is used.

Operating the pallet tracking equipment

Tag reception status and calibration values are managed aisle by aisle. When rack or load layouts change, coverage is checked again and equipment positions and settings are adjusted.

Rack-Column Receiver Installation

In stores where mounting equipment on a high ceiling is difficult, TwinTracker UWB goes on the rack columns. Height and direction are adjusted so tag signals are picked up from both sides of the aisle. Brackets and cabling are placed where forklift travel and replenishment routes stay clear.

Signal Calibration Under Load

When the way goods and pallets are stacked changes, check coverage aisle by aisle. Where loads block the signal, the position and height of TwinTracker UWB are adjusted to reduce coordinate deviation. In sections where the aisle structure has changed, existing calibration values are reviewed and the operating baseline is updated.

Remote Power and Connectivity Checks

PoE Switch(L2) carries both power and data to TwinTracker UWB. Receivers that have lost their link or fallen behind on updates are flagged on the operations screen for checking. The number of switches and port configuration are set from cabling distance per aisle and the number of units installed.

Managing equipment replacement and position settings

When equipment is replaced, check the receiver positions and settings recorded for that store. Local engineers install the replacement using the cabling and calibration values as the reference and recalibrate positions in that zone. Recording when the aisle structure or rack layout changed keeps track of what needs rechecking.
