ORBRO Inc. (CEO Lee Hak-kyung, orbro.io), a specialist in real-time location tracking (RTLS) and digital twin platforms, has received the highest grade in an investment technology evaluation from NICE D&B, a leading Korean credit rating agency: TI-1.

TI-1 is the top grade in a 10-level rating system, and ORBRO is understood to be the only company in Korea's location tracking industry to have received it.

In the evaluation, ORBRO earned an A grade, the highest score, in every core technology category, including technology development, intellectual property, and R&D investment. Its R&D investment ratio in particular averaged 13.2% over the past 3 years, 3 times the industry average of 4.4%, and the company holds 26 registered patents, credentials that confirmed its technological competitiveness. Its proven track record of supplying solutions to major Korean corporations and public institutions such as Hyundai Motor, POSCO, Samsung C&T, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Korea Expressway Corporation was also highly rated.

ORBRO holds technology that uses AI to jointly analyze Bluetooth, UWB, and Wi-Fi wireless signals together with CCTV video, improving indoor positioning accuracy, and that renders the result on a digital twin platform. The company currently provides asset location tracking, safety management, and real-time spatial monitoring solutions across a range of industries including manufacturing, logistics, construction, healthcare, and the public sector.

CEO Lee Hak-kyung said, "This result is an achievement of the entire team, which has concentrated on a single technology, location tracking, for the past 10 years." He added, "With Korea's RTLS market projected to grow by an average of 28% a year through 2028, we will move even faster on advancing our technology and expanding the market."
