ORBRO Inc. announced that it took part in EuroShop 2026, held recently in Dusseldorf, Germany, where it presented a location tracking system optimized for retail store environments. The company exhibited together with SOLUM, focusing its display on a solution that analyzes customer movement based on the location data of shopping carts inside a store.
EuroShop is a leading trade fair that introduces the latest technologies and operational innovations in the global retail industry, and it brings together a wide range of solutions for improving store efficiency and enhancing the customer experience. Through the exhibition, ORBRO emphasized that location data can be used for operational optimization and customer behavior analysis at retail sites, going beyond simple asset tracking.
The solution presented at the show tracks the real-time location of carts inside a store and is designed to analyze customers' movement paths and the areas where they spend the most time. Store operators can therefore gain a more precise picture of actual customer flow data and apply it to a variety of operational decisions, including congestion analysis, improved display strategies, and optimized promotion placement.
Conventional retail data analysis has focused on sales results or simple visitor counts, whereas ORBRO's location tracking system makes it possible to confirm, as spatial data, how customers actually moved inside a store. Because the flow of customer movement, dwell patterns, and movement frequency by zone can be analyzed visually, the company said, visibility and analytical precision in offline store operations can be improved.
The exhibition was also significant as a case that demonstrated, through the collaboration with SOLUM, how location-based data can be connected to actual operating systems at retail sites. ORBRO plans to continue expanding its location-data-based operational optimization solutions across a range of industrial settings, including the retail market.
